bfgminer software package provides multi-threaded multi-pool ASIC, FPGA and GPU bitcoin miner, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install bfgminer
bfgminer is installed in your system.
Make ensure the bfgminer package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep bfgminer *
You will get with bfgminer package name, version, architecture and description in a table
